[Bug] Wrong default keymap with WinVICE 1.21

SYMPTOMS

If you start WinVICE, you will notice that some keys do not give the desired result. For example, Y and Z are swapped.

CAUSE

By default, WinVICE 1.21 assumes a German keyboard layout.

SOLUTION

To work around this problem, you can go to the menu "Settings", then "Keyboard Settings". Select Positional, press enter, and save the settings ("Settings"/"Save Current Settings").

STATUS

The VICE team has confirmed this to be a bug in the VICE versions listed at the beginning of this article. It is fixed in all subsequent versions.
