[Info] Game "Kennedy Approch" does not work properly

The information in this article applies to the following versions of VICE:

SYMPTOMS

The game "Kennedy Approach" doesn't work properly. Starting with level 5 in Atlanta, some storms are supposed to show up on screen. If a plane tries to fly through one, it might crash.
The storms don't show on the screen, but the planes do crash if you go in a storm area. Sometimes, the radar stations get distorted.

CAUSE

This seems not to be the fault of the emulator, it happens on a real C64 too! It seems either the disk images floating around are broken or the game was sold broken.

SOLUTION

To get the program to run properly, try to get another game image; the best choice is to try another source.
